Are our crews employees or subcontractors?

90% of our labor force are hourly w-2 employees. We do utilize a small subcontractor labor force with extensive documentation and vetting in adherence with the 14-point classification test.

Do you provide materials?

We do not supply materials at this time. We are strictly a sub-contract labor source, providing necessary labor, equipment, and our pneumatic fasteners.

What is your geographical range?

The majority of our work takes place within a one hr radius of the 35W and Highway 94 convergence in the heart of the Twin Cities. However we will take on jobs in the surrounding Minnesota and Wisconsin north woods and lake regions. Positioning our General Contractor’s to be the go-to for their clients out of town opportunities.

Are you a subcontractor, general contractor or both?

Solid is strictly a business-to-business sub-contractor that seamlessly integrates into your build team. We refer homeowners to the General Contractors we work for and never compete for future work directly to the surrounding property owners intrigued by an excellent project taking place nearby.
